1. Development status — prototype phase

The toilet, bidet and urinal presented on this site are working prototypes and engineering pre-production samples, not finished commercial products. Designs, components, dimensions, materials, features and specifications are provisional and may change — in some cases significantly — as development and industrialisation continue.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a delivery commitment, or a guarantee that any product, feature or figure will be available in its current form.

2. Certification and regulatory status

The products are not yet certified. They do not currently carry the CE marking and have not completed ISO certification or any other third-party conformity assessment. They are not yet placed on the market within the meaning of applicable EU product legislation, and are shown for information, demonstration and development purposes only.

We are actively working towards the relevant certifications and conformity assessments and intend to obtain them before any commercial sale. Until then, the products must not be treated as compliant, certified or market-ready.

3. How our technical figures are produced

Performance figures on this site — for example water consumption (e.g. 2.5 L per flush), flush performance, weight reduction, installation time and recyclability — are realistic estimates produced in one of two ways:

• In-house laboratory testing — carried out by our own team using test methods that mirror the techniques and conditions of the relevant ISO/EN standards as closely as we can replicate them internally (for example flush-performance methodology). These are not official certification tests and are not performed by an accredited or notified body.
• Engineering and production estimates — figures such as weight and installation time are derived from our designs, material choices, bills of materials and expected manufacturing and assembly processes. They are projections based on current production capabilities and assumptions, not measurements of mass-produced units.

4. Not independently verified

Because the products are pre-production and uncertified, all technical claims on this site are internal estimates that have not been independently verified, audited or certified by any third party, accredited laboratory or notified body. Real-world results may differ.

Comparative statements (for example versus typical ceramic fixtures or EU averages) are based on publicly available reference figures and our own assumptions, and are provided for illustration.

5. Forward-looking statements

This website contains forward-looking statements about our products, technology, performance targets and plans. These reflect our current intentions and expectations and are subject to change, technical risk and the outcome of further development, testing and certification. Actual products and results may differ materially.

6. No reliance

The information on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon for purchasing, specification, installation, regulatory or investment decisions without contacting us directly and obtaining current, written information. To the extent permitted by law, Metis accepts no liability for reliance placed on the prototype-stage information presented here.
